A "tow angel" in action.Emily brought Kerris and Thayer presents from her trip to Florida. They got a kick out of the hats and have been wearing them since.
Swim class this morning...Kerris is making great progress and was swimming on her own today. Thayer loves the water and splashes and kicks like crazy.
Mr. Handy Man bought some new doors today and is trying to fit them into a shifted 100 year old house double door frame to close in our new guest room. Yeehaw!
Thayer really gets into everything he does. Here, he's just simply drinking juice.
Just when I thought it was only James who was into skee ball on his iphone. Kerris asks if she can get skee ball on her ipod. Alas, two addicts...
It was a great baby week for our friends! Billy and Larkyn had son Grady Steele Mungovan on Thursday and then our friends Colin and Bizzy had son George Levi Riley yesterday. So cool.Random Thoughts:
- Kerris is nearly fluent in Chinese and Spanish thanks to Kai-Lan and Dora. It cracks me up when she whips out new words and I have NO idea what they mean! Who says TV is bad??
- Thayer got his 8th tooth today!
- This week Thayer has started giving his stuffed animals hugs.
- Most importantly, at 10 1/2 months, Thayer has started taking steps by himself! He's probably taken more than 20 steps. He'll stand for 10 seconds or more holding items before he realizes he's balancing.
- Kerris' language is amazing; you'd never know she's almost 2 1/2. And her imagination continues to blossom. She bakes in her kitchen and she's now Blue Dog's mommy.
- The Princess craze continues (and next Saturday I'm bringing her to Princess on Ice with one of my friends and her daughter). I'm pretty certain she has worn a dress every day for the last 6 months. Ballet class starts on Tuesday!
