PHEW! The fence, shed, and deck railing are complete! We had a great turn out yesterday and the weather couldn't have been better for painting. Thanks to Mom and Jim, Joanne and Bill, and Dave and Pete. Many hours were logged (painting and watching the kids)!!! We're so THANKFUL for ALL the help!

We had Kerris' allergy appointment on Friday. The good news: she's not allergic to eggs anymore and can now get the flu shot (flu shots are egg based). She IS allergic to peanuts and tree nuts and still cats. Boo. We want a cat. Oh well. They gave us one of those epishot kits, which is what you administer if she can't breathe if she eats too many peanuts, so that's nice. Just one more thing to worry about.
Kerris' conversations are getting better and more humorous every day. Last week she was so excited for the arrival of Halloween. She said in a super excited tone that it's too far away, but maybe we should take an airplane!!!
Both Kerris and Thayer have been sick for over a week. Kerris is still in denial. And in fact the allergist said she had an ear infection. She insists she's fine and her nose continues to run. But the best part about it all is that she tells us she's happy. And when you tell her she's sick she says "No. You happy." We love that sick is now an emotion. Maybe it should be?
"You happy, Mom, not sick."
The end.
