Memorial Day

Thayer cracks me up. He's now at the stage where he's realizing a picture is being taken of him and he's doing "cheese". Our little boy isn't so small anymore.

Kerris is obsessed with her Cinderella doll. She lost the one the Easter Bunny brought her. And surprise! The Easter Bunny dropped off another one about a month ago. Tonight she was yelling from upstairs "MOMMA, I CAN'T FIND MY CINDERELLA." Well it's no wonder, she has about 20 friends in bed with her and some get lost from time to time. At least Cinderella is about 4" tall. Kerris has two "Ariels" that are almost an inch tall; one is pink and one green. (They are cocktail mermaids from The Blue Mermaid restaurant downtown.) They are constantly losing the sheet battle.
"Cheese". Thayer's playing in Kerris' doll bed. He crawls in and says "nite nite".
This was the beginning of the end. This is the Tuesday after Memorial Day and the kids are taking it easy. Then for the next two weeks they both had fevers, pukes, and respiratory illnesses. I pretty much have no pictures because we stayed in the house. That was TOUGH for the mom unit. They did well and caught up on TV for the next year.
At Grandma's cookout.

Pete is teaching Thayer how to do the sign for bird.
This was the second to last day with the beard. James hit a new record, 8 months! He finally shaved it in the new upstairs bathroom sink.

Thayer and James with Kathleen and Harry. Harry is finally now home at Joanne's after several months in rehab.
We met the Fosters and the Emersons in Kennebunkport for dinner and ice cream; Colby, Zach, Kerris, Thayer, Hadley.
Beach volleyball with the Olsen's at the Gregg Compound, Pirate's Cove.
Kerris playing with Talula and Eveland.
Just a little jam with the casio organ. Kerris and Thayer have really gotten into "A Whole New World" and clearly James has too...
