Rocking Lamb

Kerris and I checked out Peirce Island Pool yesterday. She LOVED it. Unfortunately there isn't a wading area but the shallow end starts at 1 1/2 feet and it was just fine for her to splash around (though I nearly broke my back hanging onto her). By the time she got a hang of it she was cruising along the edge practically running from one side to the other and squealing at the other kids in delight.

This morning the little Beanlette decided to rise at 6:10am. Ugh, a little early. But she was asleep again by 8:15am. She had a great time drawing with her new toy from the Zahns and then after that got in a good rocking lamb session before hitting the hay.

Not sure what we're up to today, maybe the beach? Or just running errands...we're going to go to Jenness Beach tomorrow in Rye with my old sophomore year roommate Michele and senior year roommate Betsy and all of the kiddies. Can't wait, hope the weather cooperates.

Kerris took a total of 18 steps yesterday on her own. She's getting close to walking!!
