Fun in October

Grandpapi & Nanni Di and Aunt Abby & Thomas came to visit this weekend! We had a blast even though it rained cats and dalmations on Saturday.

The gang spent some time at Emery Farm in Durham today picking out pumpkins, cider donuts, and playing with the gigantic sandbox toys (or Kerris the Penguin did anyway). Then James and dad worked on removing the metal fence, Diane did laundry (awesome), and I started to paint the front porch.Kerris picking out her tiny pumpkin.
Thomas was lucky to have Bear slobber in his hair...the Parkingtons!
Abby and me at the Red Hook Brewery beer fest yesterday (yea! the kids got out!). This was the Brooklyn Brewery Chocolate Stout. Yum.
Dad mowed the lawn on Friday while I went grocery shopping. Diane did some scraping and they both watched the kids. Then I was able to paint the deck!
On Wednesday we went to Gorham, Maine to see Kristin and Hadley. The girls picked out pumpkins. We enjoyed seeing the Foster's new home (across the street from where my father grew up!).
And on Tuesday we were very lucky to see the Bargers! Laura and Dean stopped in on their way to Southwest Harbor. We finally met adorable Rowan.
